One that will re-connect them both with the friends and family they lost...
And quite possibly kill them all...
UNDENIABLE series:
UNDENIABLE
(Undeniable #1)
Warning: This is not a typical love story. This is an all-consuming,
soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw,
dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story
that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with
hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.
Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with
bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl,
Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass
of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the
club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent,
but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of
lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but
their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear
them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of
love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the
one thing he can’t live without.
UNBEAUTIFULLY
(Undeniable #2)
The story of Ripper and Danny
COMING SOON - 2013
The first time I fell in love it was with a pair of blue eyes and a wide
dimpled grin. "Your old man loves ya, Danny girl,” He whispered.
“You never ever forget that, yeah?”
I never did. And I never thought I could ever love any man as much as I loved
my father. But as we grow, we change, we begin to make our own decisions and
thus become independent and self sufficient and start turning away from our
parents and turning to others. We form friendships, strong bonds and ties and
begin experiencing life outside of the bubble we grew up inside of. And
we fall in love…a second time.
The second time I fell in love it was with a badly scarred face, the stuff of
nightmares; the sort of disfigurement that mothers steer their children away
from. Ugly, jagged slashes marred the skin from the top of his skull, down over
his right eye, an eye that had been dug out of his face with a serrated blade.
The scars continued across his cheek, over his lips and down his neck, ending
at the top of his shoulder. His chest was a hundred times worse; scar tissue as
far as the eye could see.
“Baby,” He said gruffly, “Man like me got no business with a girl like you.
You’re nothin’ but fuckin’ beauty and I’m a whole lot of fuckin’ ugly who’s
already halfway to hell.”
But he was wrong. Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly.
Because without ugly there would be no beauty. Because without beauty we would
not survive our pain, our sorrow, and our suffering. And in the world I
lived in, the world he lived in, a secret world within the world, a world of of
constant crime and cruel, cold, death, there was almost nothing but suffering.
“You may not be beautiful the way you were before,” I whispered, cupping his
ruined cheek. “But you’re still beautiful. To me.”
Now that you’re totally hooked like we
are, and we have you adding this awesome series to your TBR list, let's get to
the interview so we can find out more about the amazing woman behind the
books….
Book Monster Reviews/LITERAL ADDICTION: Hi Madeline! Welcome to Book Monster & LITERAL
ADDICTION. We’re so happy to have you
with us today!
Madeline {opening comments}: Hi!
*Waving*
Book
Monster Reviews/LITERAL ADDICTION: We always like to start out by getting to
know our guest authors a little bit better.
Q1): Can you tell us 3
things about yourself that we can't find out on the internet, in your bio, etc?
Madeline: Hm. I’m
not really sure how to answer this so I’ll just shoot off some random
stuff. (1) I can’t cook, so I don’t
cook. Ever. If my husband didn’t cook, I would probably
be malnourished. (2) I have a huge
collection of seashells on my desk gathered from all around the world. (3) I have an unnatural obsession with flip
flops.
Q2) What are some of your hobbies, or things that
you each enjoy when you’re not writing or taking care of other author business?
Madeline: It
feels like I’m always writing and when I’m not writing, I’m thinking about
writing but I do manage to leave the house sometimes. I like doing dinner and drinks with my friends,
I make it a point to attend every Social Distortion concert within a fifty mile
radius of my home and I enjoy getting tattooed.
Q3) Do you have any interesting writing quirks,
or things that you must have with you to begin the writing process?
Madeline: When I first sit down to write, after dropping
my son off at school, I absolutely have to have a fresh cup of coffee, a spiral
notebook and pen for random thoughts, notes and character descriptions. I also refuse to answer the phone for anyone
but my son’s school.
Q4) What are 3 things that never fail to make you
smile and 3 things that never fail to piss you off?
Madeline:
My son, the sound of Mike Ness’s voice and zombie movies.
Technology that alienates personal interaction, abuse of
authority of any nature, and uncomfortable shoes.
Q5) What are some of the books you have in your
TBR pile right now?
Madeline: Messenger’s Angel & Death Angel (Book #2
and #3 in the Lost Angels Series) by Heather Killough-Walden, ICED by Karen
Marie Moning and Bite, My Love by Penelope Fletcher.
Q6) What are some of your favorite TV shows and
movies?
Madeline: I’m a
big supernatural freak. Favorite
include, The Vampire Diaries, Being Human, True Blood, and The Walking Dead. I also enjoy Girls, Enlightened, Sons of
Anarchy and Catfish the TV Show.
Q7) If you could
have one super power, which would you want it to be and why that one?
Madeline: Super speed writing.
Q8) If you could spend the day with any famous
person (dead or alive), who would you pick and what would you want to do?
Madeline:
Dead Person – Ernest Hemingway. And I’d want to get trashed with him. Drunker than shit. Completely bombed.
Alive Person – Mike Ness
with whom I’d love to get tattooed with.
And maybe make out with too…
Book Monster Reviews/LITERAL ADDICTION: Now we'd like to
ask you more about your books and series:
Q9) For readers who have not yet read your HOLY
TRINITY TRILOGY & UNDENIABLE series, can you please tell us a little about
each series?
Madeline: The
Holy Trinity Trilogy is essentially about fate and the power of choice, with
some Gypsies, magic, and terrifying supernatural enemies throw in.
The Undeniable Series is about love. Plain and simple. It’s also centered around two Motorcycle
Clubs and contains a whole lot of violence and internal torment.
Q10) What was the inspiration behind the HOLY
TRINITY TRILOGY & UNDENIABLE series?
Madeline: I enjoy
writing about unknown secretive subcultures and letting my imagination run
wild. (Gypsies, Motorcycle Clubs, etc…)
I mean, soul mates in a post apocalyptic setting,
Gypsies, magic, dark magic, cannibalistic vampire-like monsters and
human/dragon hybrids all rolled into one…who comes up with that?
Q11) We know that
My Heart & Soul is
the final book in the HOLY TRINITY series.
What are your thoughts now the story is coming to a close? What can we expect on the final installment
of the series?
Madeline: I’m actually pretty sad that Trinity’s story
is almost over. Trinity, Xan and Gerik
are my babies. I do have Trinity 2.5
coming out soon, “The Lost Souls” Hockey
and Marko’s stories. As for My Heart
& Souls publication date…hopefully this year.
Q12) The blurb for Unbeautifully is what caught my attention to you and your
books. Can you tell us more about the
two characters from this
book, Ripper and Danny? Do you
have an estimated release date planned yet?
Madeline: Ripper and Danny are two very different people
whose interest in one another is accidental.
Danny is sheltered, spoiled and unworldly whereas Ripper has lived his
life fast and hard and encountered a lot of tragedy along the way. Their very different personalities makes for
a very interesting story but, sorry, I have no release date.
Q13) How many books do you have planned for the UNDENIABLE
series?
Madeline: A total of five.
Q14) Do
you have any other projects in the works that you can share with us?
Madeline: The Crack Whore Diaries is a side project I’ve
been working. It’s follows a former
junkie/prostitute on her road to recovery.
Q15) Is there anything
specific you would like to say to your readers while we have you here today?
Madeline: To my readers, thank you from the bottom of my
heart, you made 2012 an amazing year for me and I hope I’ll be able to make
2013 an awesome year for you.
