As the only girl on all guys hockey teams from age six through her college years, Coreene Callahan knows a thing or two about tough guys and loves to write about them.  Call it kismet.  Call it payback after years of locker room talk and ice rink antics, but whatever you call it, the action better be heart stopping, the magic electric, and the story wicked, good fun. 

After graduating with honors in psychology and working as an interior designer, she finally succumbed to her overactive imagination and returned to her first love: writing. Coreene is the creator of the amazing DRAGONFURY series which currently has three books.  The first book in the series "Fury of Fire" was released in February 2012, the second book "Fury of Ice" was released on June 5, and the third book in the series "Fury of Seduction", was just released on October 2, 2012.

She also has a new series, A CIRCLE OF SEVEN, coming in December.  Book #1, "Knight Awakened", has a planned release date of 12/4/12, with "Knight Avenged" and "Knight Unleashed" to follow soon after.

I don’t know about you, but I love lists. Any kind of list will do. Heck, I get excited about a good grocery list! Each one is topical and keeps me organized about, well…something. And with a growing family to keep on track, that is an absolute must. Sometimes, though, a list can function as a reminder. A cautionary aid, if you will. 

The one I’ve written below is the perfect example. It is a list that grew out of experience and is intended to serve as a warning. Lord knows, if I can save someone else the pain and keep you from repeating my mistake—particularly if you harbor any love for your car—my loss is your gain.

5 Reasons You Should Never Lend a 

Dragon-Shifter your Car:

1.      Getting the smell of fire and brimstone out of upholstery—along with the singe marks—is murder. 

2.      Dragon-Shifters like to ride with the top-down…even if your car isn’t a convertible. So say goodbye to your roof. 

3.      He’ll hurl fireballs out the window at anyone who cuts him off in traffic. (Trust me, the police WILL call.)

                         

4.      Unpaid parking tickets. Dragon-Shifters are terrible at parking, which means bashed-in bumpers, or worse, your car parked in a tree when no spots are available street level. 

5.      The Mile High car drop. What does this entail? Dropping cars from the tops of tall buildings to see which one has a better crunch factor. He’ll call it an experiment while you’re calling your insurance company.

Don’t make the same mistake I did and trust a Dragon-Shifter. Oh, I know he’s quite irresistible and oh, so polite while asking to borrow your car, but don’t be fooled. You’ll never see your beloved vehicle in one piece again.
