REV IT UP
is the third book in Julie Ann Walker's incredible new romantic suspense
series, BLACK KNIGHTS INC., and this is the story of Jake "the snake"
Summers and Michelle Carter.
We met
both of these characters in the second book IN RIDES TROUBLE. Michelle Carter is Frank Knights younger
sister that he kept hidden all these years in fear that someone might come
after her to get back at him. At the end
of the last book Jake came to the motorcycle shop and stated to Frank that he
was there for Michelle.
Jake and
Michelle have an intense history. Jake
broke Michelle's heart and pushed her away because he was fighting odd his
inner demons. He ended up pushing her
into the arms of his best friend. Now
Michelle is a widow with a young son and Jake is determined to do anything to
win her back. The stakes are even higher
now because Frank made a terrible enemy is the previous book and now he's out
to destroy Frank by going after his family.
Jake is determined to protect Michelle and her son Franklin even though
Michelle is not happy about being stuck with him.
Michelle
has mixed feeling about Jake showing up again.
She's always loved him but she's hurt about he just left her and blew
her off years ago. When she has no
choice but to let Jake protect her, she knows she has no chance at guarding her
heart against him. But when Jake
discovers that Michelle has betrayed him all these years by keeping a devastating
secret from him, will he be able to forgive Michelle?

Walker takes us on another adrenaline packed, emotional rollercoaster ride in
the third installment of the BLACK KINIGHTS INC. series. I was really upset when I finished this book
because I realized that I now have to wait until April 2013 for the next book
in the series but I know it will be worth the wait. BLACK KNIGHTS INC. is an incredible series
and I highly recommend it. Each story in
the series can be read as a standalone but if you want the full effect of the series and
the experience of falling in love with the characters as you read each book, I
would recommend reading them in order.
