Hello everyone!  Book Monster Reviews and LITERAL ADDICTION are very excited to have bestselling author Anya Bast on our sites today!

Anya Bast is the author of numerous works of romantic fiction, mostly all paranormal and mostly all scorching hot. She lives in the country with her husband, daughter, eight cats, a dog, and an odd assortment of rescued animals.

She grew up in Minnesota and still favors the colder climates. After high school she moved to the southeast United States where she attended college. While in graduate school she sold her first book and decide to pursue her lifelong dream of writing instead of a career in psychology.

Somewhat reclusive by nature, she can be drawn out with a good bottle of red wine, classic movies, or good music. When she’s not writing, she can be found trying to grow organic vegetables, shopping in thrift stores for that perfect piece of clothing, or dreaming about travel to some faraway country.

Anya has written over 30 novels in multiple genres of romance and fantasy.  She has 15 stand alone titles in erotic romance along with two series, THE EMBRACED and WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS.  She has one dark fantasy stand alone novel "The Phantom Queen" and one fantasy romance novel "Raven's Quest" which was released in February 2011.  She also has a fantasy historical erotic romance series COURT OF EDAEII, which currently consists of two books, "Jeweled" and "Jaded" which was released on June 7, 2011.

Anya is also the New York Times bestselling author of the two paranormal romance series ELEMENTAL WITCHES and DARK MAGICK.  The ELEMENTAL WITCHES series consists of four (4) books, "Witch Fire", "Witch Blood", "Witch Heart" and "Witch Fury".  The DARK MAGICK series currently consists of four (4) books, "Wicked Enchantment", Cruel Enchantment", "Dark Enchantment"  and "Midnight Enchantment".

Dear Reader  ~

My name is Broder Calderson and I was once a Viking. I have lived for over a thousand years, most of them under the sadistic control of Loki, the trickiest and cruelest of the Norse gods. Loki stabbed a sliver of demon through my soul in punishment for my sins. It is a dark part of me I must always keep under control. Loki imprisons me through the sliver, along with other men, as warriors in a fight to prevent Ragnarök, an apocalypse for the gods. We are the Brotherhood of the Damned.

It’s not like I didn’t deserve punishment for what I did. My damning was born on a bloody night when I became something other than myself, a berserker of old, cutting down all those in my path. For that crime, I deserved death. Instead I got the never ending torment of eternal life and enslavement.

My advice to you, never offend the Norse gods.

I thought my suffering couldn’t get worse, but then Loki decided to “reward” me. A thousand years to the day of my punishment, he unlocked my chains and allowed me a woman. Not just any woman.
