Hello Literal Addicts and Book Monsters! LITERAL ADDICTION and Book Monster Reviews are incredibly happy to welcome Bianca D’Arc back to our sites today!
Bianca is way more than just an author! She is a former chemist with more letters behind her name than we could ever hope to have and an artist. We’re not talking about being an artist just with her pen and computer, though that can’t be disputed! We actually meant with a paint brush and a guitar, since those are 2 of her hobbies when she’s not creating fantastical worlds for us to get lost in. Outside of that, she’s an avid bargain hunter and LOVES to shop!
Her background in science has come in handy in her writing, as she enjoys mixing her real-world knowledge of science with her vast imaginary world library. She writes in many genres and mixed genres, but concentrates most of her work in the paranormal, sci-fi, fantasy and futuristic realms with some contemporary and urban fantasy thrown in for the heck of it. As fans, we can honestly say that we wouldn’t want it any other way!
Bianca’s series include: RESONANCE MATES, BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, DRAGON KNIGHTS, TALES OF THE WERE, JIT’SUKU CHRONICLES, STRING OF FATE, GUARDIANS OF THE DARK and her most recent series, STARLORDS. She also has single books out categorized under series for future expansion: GEMINI PROJECT, GONE COUNTRY and GIFT OF THE ANCIENTS.
The most recent release into Bianca’s library of literary excellence is the latest BORTHERHOOD OF BLOOD installment, “Wolf Hills”, and we’re here today to help Bianca promote and celebrate!
For those of you not yet familiar with Bianca’s work, we highly recommend everything that she’s written and suggest that you would check it all out HERE. For today though, let’s focus on the BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD series and her new release, “Wolf Hills”. If you haven’t read BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD yet, here are the synopses of the books to catch you up:
"One and Only"
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 1
A deadly crash changes the fate of one lonely vampire.
Brotherhood of Blood, Book 1
Lissa was headed for a conference at a resort in a last-ditch attempt to find a job. Instead, on a rain-slick mountain road that almost killed her, she finds the love of her life. A love with the most eligible, reclusive vineyard owner in Napa Valley-one that isn-t quite human.
No barrier-not even breaking the news to Lissa-s friends-seems too great to hold back their blossoming love. Until they learn the accident that brought them together wasn-t an accident at all, but a murder attempt by an unknown enemy.
Atticus saved Lissa once. Can he keep her that way in the face of a renewed threat?
Warning: This book contains graphic language, hot neck biting, outdoor loving and a hot man with a killer smile.
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 2
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 3
"Sweeter Than Wine"
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 4
With the help of a werecougar friend, Sebastian teaches Christy about her new life and abilities, making certain she is as strong as he can make her. Only then can she face her abusive ex-husband and put her old life behind her. But Christys ex-husband is involved in something more dangerous than any of them had guessed. Vampire, were, and even a fey knight must work together to put an end to the threatening evil.
To overcome her past, help keep the darkness at bay, and fight for a new life with Sebastian, Christy must draw on all of her new-found strength. Will it be enough?
Warning, this title contains explicit sex, graphic language, mnage a trois, hot neck biting and werecougar stroking.
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 5
Jena knows about vampires, particularly about the one who watches her every step, lest she somehow reveal her knowledge to the mortal world. Ian Sinclair would be her executioner should she even try to share her knowledge, but she doesn't fear him. No, Ian bothers her on an even more elemental level. He's just too sexy for his own good-and hers.
Ian finds himself attracted to the all-too-mortal lady doctor, though he knows better. He's been assigned to watch her, not seduce her, but seduction seems to be all he can think of when he looks at the gorgeous woman who works entirely too hard and has such sad eyes. He feels things he hasn't felt in centuries when she's around, including an unreasonable jealousy when he follows her on a Valentine's date with one of her colleagues.
After the disastrous date, will they both be able to resist temptation when Jena invites the vampire in?
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, Book 6

Yes, we know that they sound fabulous and can say with 100% certainty firsthand that they ARE. We highly suggest that you go and grab them from your favorite bookseller ASAP and check out the rest of Bianca’s backlist as well, but for now, we have a special treat for you - A guest interview with Sally and Jason from “Wolf Hills”. Enjoy!
[In celebration of the release of their book, we had the opportunity to take a trip out to Wyoming to meet with Sally and Jason from Wolf Hills. We hopped a plane, rented a car, and drove out to the address that we were given, a gorgeous house in the wilderness that we knew originally belonged to the Pack Alpha, but now belonged to the Alpha Pair. Walking up the long driveway we approached the front door and rang the bell. Footsteps could be heard, and the front door opened to reveal a gorgeous hunk of a man.]
Jason: Welcome to Wyoming. Sally’s got coffee on in the kitchen, if you’re interested. [Jason holds out the door to let us enter into the beautiful, rustic home nestled in the woods as if it grew there.]
Michelle: (holds out hand to shake with Jason) Hi Alpha. Thank you so much for taking time out to meet with us. (smiles)
Carla: (shakes hands as well) Yes, thank you so much. Our readers will really appreciate hearing about what’s been going on out here in Wyoming with the pack and with you two.
[We follow Jason into the house to the spacious kitchen where Sally is fixing coffee and take a seat at the table.]
Michelle: Hi Sally. We were just thanking Jason for taking time out to meet with us. Thank you as well.
Sally: My pleasure. It’s not often I get to discuss this stuff with anyone outside the Pack. [Sally sits down, passing out coffee cups and accoutrements.]
Carla: (accepts cup of coffee from Sally) So you two, how’s mated life?
[Sally’s hand reaches for Jason’s on the table as she smiles at him.] Better than I ever expected. [The love shared between them is palpable and spreads a harmonious energy over the room. A taste of magic, perhaps?]
Michelle: Sally have you gotten settled on the police force here in Wyoming yet? Do you miss San Francisco at all?
Sally: Oh, the local guys took some time to get used to me and my ‘city ways’, [Sally laughs and rolls her eyes] but we’re doing okay now. I don’t miss the city as much as I thought I would. Looking back, I realize now how alone I felt after all my friends got married and had lives of their own. Now, here with Jason and the Pack, I’m never alone. And I mean that in the best possible way. [Sally looks at Jason with a loving smile, then turns back to her guests as they all sip their coffee.] Being part of the Pack is like having a great big, extended family. It can be difficult at times, but the benefits far outweigh the occasional friction. I’ve never been happier.
Carla: Jason, how are the kids and the rest of the pack doing after the ordeal with the hunters?
Jason: We’re safe for now. Wolf cubs are well acquainted with danger and are dealing with the trauma with the help of their parents and the rest of the Pack. Meanwhile, my brother’s on the trail of the hunters. You’ll understand I can’t say much more than that, since the work is ongoing. But for now, at least, the threat is elsewhere and the Pack is as safe as we can be in this dangerous world.
Michelle: (coughs and smirks) So, have either of you run into Steve Redstone lately?
Carla: (laughs into her hand)
[Jason’s shoulders tighten slightly in reaction while Sally chuckles and blushes.]
Jason: Stray cats have a way of hanging around once they find a comfortable spot. For now, he’s welcome on Pack lands.
Sally: He’s mentioned his Clan’s construction company and the prospect of opening a new branch nearby. [Sally meets Jason’s gaze while deliberately evading the question.]
Jason: I’m considering the idea. It would mean more employment for our people. Redstone Construction hires all kinds of shifters. And from what I understand, very few humans – if any – work for the firm. It’s always good to encourage new employment opportunities for the Pack.
Carla: How are your gifts progressing Sally? Have you learned anything new lately?
Sally: It’s coming along, but most of what I’ve been picking up is instinctual from living in a true forest for the first time in my life. It’s really amazing to me how much magic there is in nature all around that I never quite realized before.
Michelle: Any news on Leonora? How is she holding up? I’m sure you guys really miss her… (trails off with a sympathetic look)
Sally: Thanks. I can communicate with her at times, but not often. With Leonora mostly unavailable, it’s been difficult to learn anything more complicated about my gifts, but I keep trying. My goal now is to find my relatives so together, we can free Leonora. That’s the most important thing right now. She’s safe where she is, but I really want her back.
Carla: Now that the two of you are settled, any plans for kids?
[Both of them laugh.]
Jason: I’m not against it, but the Lady will bless us when She decides it’s time.
Sally: Yeah, we’re not in any big rush. With my fledgling understanding of magic and nature, I’m inclined to agree with Jason. When the time is right, the children will come.
Michelle: Yeah, speaking of you guys getting settled (takes a sip of coffee), how has the pack taken to the Alpha being an Alpha Pair now?
Sally: They held a party for us that lasted nearly a week! And let me tell you, werewolves know how to party! They made me feel really welcome and even if more than a few of the other women were jealous at first, we’ve settled who’s the Alpha bitch in the Pack now. They might be tough, but I’m tougher, even if I wasn’t born knowing this whole other world existed.
Carla: How are Carly and Dmitri doing? I’m sure Carly’s ecstatic to have you close now Sally. Jason, are you and Dmitri working on consolidating forces to keep the area safe?
Sally: One of the great things about moving here is being able to hang with Carly almost anytime. At night, of course. [Sally winks as she smiles.] But like I said, I really missed my friends before I came here. I still miss the other gals, but now that I know what happened to them – that they all married vampires and became vamps themselves – it’s easier to bear. Dmitri’s got this cool video link setup at his place and we can chat live with the others who still live in California any night we want. When Jason’s busy running with the Pack, I often spend an evening hanging out with Carly. Dmitri’s got work to do, as Master of the region, and that leaves us girls plenty of gossip time. I also keep her night-blooming garden stocked so she can enjoy it. It’s really great having my best friend back in my life and knowing that we’re both so happy in our marriages.
Jason: And yes, we’re working cooperatively with the Master. It’s not common for our wolves and vamps to work together, but Dmitri is more reasonable than most and he’s a good ally. We both feel that working together in this time of heightened threat helps both our peoples. It doesn’t hurt that we both have new mates we want to keep safe. [Jason puts one arm around Sally’s shoulders.] The more help I have with that, the happier I am.
Michelle: I’m so happy to see you both doing so well! I’m sure there’s still a lot to be done to fortify the area and keep the Pack safe and I know you want to see Leonora safely home so I really appreciate you taking the time to sit down with us today. (smiles)
Carla: Yes, this has been really nice. Is there anything that you want to say to our readers before we leave? Anything we didn’t ask you that you want to make sure they know?
Sally: Just to please think good thoughts for Leonora and my missing family members. I believe in my heart we’ll find them all soon, and free Leonora, but every little bit of positive energy helps!
Jason: My brother and his men are on the scent. [He squeezes Sally’s shoulders in reassurance.]
Sally: Yeah, I have every confidence they’ll find the other women we need, to work the magic that will help Leonora. One by one, those men will find the women of my family and reunite us to help her. I know it in my bones.
Jason: Damn straight.
[They share a private look as if nobody else is present. A look that says they are both committed to the task.]
[Michelle clears her throat and breaks the spell. We all say our goodbyes and Jason and Sally walk us to the door. As we head down the driveway to our car the happy couple embraces in the doorway behind us smiling and waving]
