LITERAL ADDICTION Paranormal Book Club and Book Monster Reviews are very proud to welcome Maggie Shayne back to our sites today! 

Maggie is a bestselling, multi award winning author of more than 40 novels.  Her awards include but are not limited to -  2 Romantic Times Bookclub Career Achievement Awards, the National Readers Choice Award, and a coveted RITA (the most prominent award given throughout the genre of romance and romantic fiction authors, named for the Romance Writers of America’s first president, Rita Clay Estrada).  In addition to her incredible literary success, Maggie has also written for CBS daytime dramas including Guiding Light and As the World Turns.

Outside of writing the books that we all love to read, Maggie is a Third Degree Wiccan High Priestess, which makes her legal clergy.  She studied the Craft for many years, taking more than three years of formal training in the widely known Black Forest Circle and Seminary, led by author Silver RavenWolf, where she learned about  divination, astrology, herbalism, theology, natural magick, and much, much more.  She continues to learn, however, and has studying Shamanism, Pastoral Counseling, is a third degree Reiki Master and is currently studying Law of Attraction and Zecharia Sitchin’s theories regarding Ancient Sumer.  She went on to become  one of the founders of the RavenMyst Circle tradition [denomination] of Wicca.

Maggie currently has five major book series in her library of literary excellence:  WINGS IN THE NIGHT, MORDECAI YOUNG, IMMORTAL WITCHES, THE TeXas BRAND, and SECRETS OF SHADOW FALLS.

Her latest release, “Twilight Fulfilled”, the last book in the WINGS IN THE NIGHT series, was just released on 9/20/2011 in print and is due out soon in eBook.  It has been getting rave reviews.  In fact, we reviewed it and you can see exactly what LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha thought of it by going to our Book Reviews page.

Since this is Maggie's return appearance with us, she's not doing a Q&A Interview, though she is doing another 2 hour Live Chat in our Author Chatroom from 2:00 - 4:00pm EST (1-3pm Central/12-2pm Mountain/11am - 1pm Pacific).
